Avon M. Scherff, President of Scherff Insurance Agency has been in the benefits brokerage and insurance consulting business for over 23 years. Since entering the insurance industry, Avon has dedicated herself to providing high quality products and services to her clients. Avon continues to educate herself on changes occurring in the insurance marketplace and industry overall to serve as a trusted partner to her clients. She holds her New York State Life, Accident and Health agent's license. Avon attended Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY and graduated with a BA Degree in Political Science/Sociology. Ms. Scherff currently resides in the town of Moreau with her husband Ken and son Colin.

Larry J. Stanley
Larry J. Stanley, Sales Executive, has over 25 years of business experience in both the upstate and downstate communities including New York State Government, Colleges and all sectors of healthcare. His years of experience in negotiating and purchasing insurance from the “customer” side brings a unique level of expertise in working with agency clientele. Larry embraces the true meaning of partnership and collaboration which has been instrumental in achieving customer objectives. Mr. Stanley is a graduate of the State University of New York and holds both a New York State Life, Accident and Health and Property/Casualty agent’s license. Larry and his partner Greg live in Schoharie.
Stephanie L. Galuski
Stephanie worked in the Human Resources field for more than 7 years prior to joining Scherff Insurance Agency. She has a wealth of knowledge within the healthcare industry, where she obtained significant experience in employee benefits, payroll and 401(k) administration. Stephanie has gained a great deal of her Union expertise from working with a large, private employer in the Capital District. Ms. Galuski holds her New York State Life, Accident and Health broker’s license. Stephanie lives in Waterford with her husband Kory and daughters Addyson and Payton.
Floria Lowin
Floria Lowin has joined Scherff Insurance Agency as Office Administrator. In her role Floria brings a broad range of office skills and administrative support. Her background lends itself to creating a great first impression with customers and is a strong reflection of the warm and accommodating atmosphere at Scherff Insurance Agency. Floria is a "Jill of all trades" that keeps the office running smoothly so that we continue to provide the best possible service to our clients. Ms. Lowin holds her Property/Casualty license. Floria lives with her children Alyssa and Jonathan in Malta.
